Core Curriculum: Environmental Engineering Microbiology, Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Engineering Principles, Water Pollution Control Engineering, Air Pollution Control Engineering, Solid Waste Treatment and Disposal, Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Planning and Management.

Major Features: This Major, led by Academician Li Guibai, based in Wuhan, facing Hubei, radiating the whole country, serving the industry, focusing on the field of zero-emissions of wastewater resources, fitting the needs of enterprises and markets, and adhering to the education concept of industry leading majors, majors servicing industry, forming a layout of majors connecting industry, cultivates high-quality, high-level, application-oriented and interdisciplinary senior talents with solid theoretical theory, strong practical ability and certain research and development capabilities.

Employment Orientation: Engaged in related design, production, teaching, research, production, management, inspection and other work in environmental monitoring, environmental design, environmental quality monitoring, environmental impact assessment and other industries.

Core Curriculum: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Genetic Breeding, Cell Biology and Genetics, Principles of Chemical Engineering, Downstream Technique of Biotechnology, Fermentation Engineering, Food Technology, etc.

Major Features: This major is a key one of the engineering majors at School, which closely related to the School’s talent training objectives of having strength for employment, potential for development, ability for entrepreneurship and innovation to carry out relevant education and teaching work. Through a series of measures such as the enterprises participating in the establishment of the personnel training program, make the school's teaching, off-campus internship and employment connected seamlessly, and 100% of the students will be assigned to the enterprise for practice and training.

3. Biopharmaceutical Major
