WTBU launches 2021 Reading Festival


In order to promote the excellent Chinese traditional culture and further promote the school's spiritual civilization and scholarly campus construction, at 14:30 on April 22, on the occasion of the 26th World Book Day approaching, Wuhan Technology and Business University held the launching ceremony of the 2021 Reading Festival in the Academic Lecture Hall. School Party Secretary Liu Shengyuan, Principal Assistant Diao, Student Affairs Minister Chen Yiwen, Library Director Wan Huaxi, Deputy Director Li Zhi, Party branch secretaries of various colleges and representatives of teachers and students participated in this event.

"The school's reading atmosphere is very strong. I hope everyone can develop good reading habits and continue to enrich themselves. As the 20th anniversary of the school’s founding are approaching, we should consciously use Chinese excellent traditional culture and strengthen our ideals to inspire our soul and wisdom." Luo Baohao, a student of Journalism of the School of Arts and Law, spoke as a student representative.

After the event, Tang Mengwei shared her experience deeply. "Reading must follow your own heart. Start with the books you are interested in, you will definitely gain useful things. In the past year, I organized a literary lecture on Listen to the Wind in the Heart, this not only exercised my organizational and coordination skills, but also enhanced my ability to withstand stress."
