WTBU won the 5th "Intelligence Cup" National University Economics and Management Experimental Teaching Case Competition


On August 6th, the 5th Intelligence Cup National University Economics and Management Experimental Teaching Case Competition came to an end at Shanghai Jiaotong University Antai School of Economics and Management.

The work Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Case of Project Dynamic Cost and Schedule Management Based on Earned Value Method submitted by Zhang Dandan's team of the School of Management of Wuhan Technology and Business University won the third prize of the teacher group of the competition. The experimental teaching case work of National Public Opinion Analysis won the Teachers' Group Excellence Award.

The competition is divided into three stages. In the early stage, various colleges and universities across the country organized the application. The organizing committee received a total of 134 economic and management experimental teaching submissions from 55 colleges and universities across the country. After the preliminary evaluation by experts, a total of 62 cases were shortlisted. In the second stage, the participating projects need to provide a case introduction video and a case teaching guide video, from which 15 defense cases each for the teacher group and the student group will enter the finals. The final evaluation team of the teacher group is composed of seven senior experts from Southeast University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xiamen University and other universities.

This competition aims to promote the construction of the economics and management experimental teaching case library and the sharing of high-quality resources in colleges and universities, to promote the development and application of data science experimental cases in economics and management disciplines, and to effectively exercise and improve students' ability to analyze and solve practical problems. According to the requirements of epidemic prevention, the finals were carried out online and broadcast live throughout the whole process. They have received extensive attention and participation from teachers and students in colleges and universities across the country, and nearly 20,000 people have watched online.
